Evening Laundry Assistant

40 hours , 4 days on 4 days off

£12.21 an hour & A share of Gratuities

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our hotel housekeeping team as a Evening Laundry Assistant. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have an eye for detail we want to hear from you.

The Role:

• Ensure the washing and drying of all items processed by the laundry e.g. hotel towels, spa towels, restaurant napkins, tablecloths and uniforms
• To iron laundry as required on a daily basis
• To fold all stock processed through the laundry & store for resting
• To deliver & collect laundry from different departments around the site (using golf buggy)
• To ensure the laundry is kept in continual operation to meet the demands of the business
• Any extra daily duties that are required
• To ensure that all equipment and stocks are maintained, checked and kept in good working order in accordance with correct procedures and report all relevant faults
• Ensure that the Laundry is kept clean and tidy at all times
• To be fully aware of the Hotel’s Fire Safety Procedures and Health & Safety regulations

Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar role – desirable
• Adaptable
• Strong communicator
