The Role:

• Ensuring guests receive a welcoming meet and greet on arrival
• Assisting guests with luggage to and from their bedrooms
• Dealing with enquiries and questions from guests
• Being an involved and active member of the Reception team
• Liaising with departments and assisting where necessary
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in all guest facing areas; checking terraces, lounges and the outdoor pool area are clean and tidy
• Complaint & problem handling
• Assisting with the smooth guest journey across the hotel
• Valet parking
• Assisting with the room service on busy days

Skills:

• Communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of the local area, seasonal attractions
• Gain an understanding of the hotel, grounds, rooms and facilities
• Excellent Organisational and time management skills
• Enthusiastic and reliable
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to go above and beyond in assisting hotel guests and supporting the wider Calcot team
• Positive attitude
• Driving license
• Weekend availability is required. The role operates on a rolling rota, with typical days off falling on Tuesday and Wednesday
